Which is Best Career Option after Plus Two ?

I would like to get your valuable advices and comments for good courses for my son who will be completing his +2 in March 2010 considering the following facts:


 
  • Currently studying + 2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and IT under CBSE syllabus
  • His level of interest and achievements:
  • Physics - Poor, Chemistry - above average, Biology - Good, IT - Good, English - Good
  • Preferred location - in Kerala.  Apart from medical courses, which other courses would be good for him ?
I appreciate you all to give your valuable suggestions with more details like career prospects, course durations, good institutions, etc.,

Medical Field is best

I think Medical is the best for ur son Since he is good in Biology.
Anyway since you have asked for any other courses other than Medical I would prefer him to go in for Computer Engineering, If he is not interested in that I would prefer to go in for Micro Biology or Perfusion Techology.

For Perfussion Technology he has to write entrance exams and very little nos of sites are only available for this course. This is a course where in you would be assisting the doctors in the operation. I don't think in Kerala there is colleges giving this course. But anyway make an enquiry into Trivadrum Medical College.

Also Engineering is a good option. But since he has not taken maths make an enquiry if he is eligible to write engineering entrance.
