Spices Board is recruiting Oracle support

Spices Board is proposing selection and posting of two Oracle support personnel in Board¦s Head Office, having qualification of Master of Computer Applications (MCA) with minimum one year experience in Oracle Forms/Reports 6i or above , Oracle RDBMS (8i or above) and PL/SQL and aged not more than 35 years as on 1st August, 2008.
Their remuneration shall be Rs.20,000/- per month (consolidated) . Appointment of the selected candidates will be on contract and purely on temporary basis for a period of one year.

They will be eligible for fixed rates of traveling allowance and daily allowance for the tours undertaken by them. The selection is proposed to be done through walk-in-interview to be conducted at Board¦s Head Office at Kochi on 5th Nov 2008. Those who found eligible will have to undergo a practical test in Oracle Forms, Reports and PL/SQL .

1. This temporary employment is for a period of one year.
2. The Board reserves the right to terminate the employment without showing any reason or any kind of advance notice.
3. The Outsourced Technical Person shall surrender relevant certificates to the Board to ensure continuity of his/her support during the
contract period of one year
4. Leave admissible during the service period will be one day per month. For availing additional leave, pro-rata deduction will be
made from the consolidated monthly payment.

 No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the Interview. The starting time of interview will be from 9.30 AM onwards.Candidates should bring the original and one copy, each, of Certificates regarding qualifications and experience, and two passport size photographs at the time of the Walk-in-Interview.
