Project - Remote Desktop Administrator (RDA) using java technology

The whole PC based systems which are available these days are all running through the network type communication such as net centers and college LABS. This is very time consuming to administer and control all the computers in a network manually. RDA helps in this situation it works as software which can be used to control the different computers, which are connected to the internet, from a single PC. It provides various features like file transfer, remote desktop capturing and event transfer.

Project Modules

The project will work on the client/server architecture. The client will send request to server to get control of the PC and then control it.

•     Desktop Capturing: This module will capture the desktop of the server and show on the client machine.
•     Remote File Transfer: This module will provide small file transfer from both sides.
•     Connection Information: The information of the connection such as speed, connection start time, elapsed time, transfer rate will be shown.
•     Event Transfer: The keyboard and the mouse events will transfer from the client machine to the server to give the feel as the user is sitting on the server machine.
•    Security: The security will be provided through the java security manager which will provide the security on the network connection.
•    The project also provide the user friendly GUI for configuring the project and to making connection with their server.
