Technical Skills:
• Ensuring metric are achieved as per target which will result in quick settlement of claims/premiums.
• Part of Treaty practice group (a group involved in process improvement)
• Ensure prompt collection of funds from the underwriters/clients.
• Ensure all queries of clients and underwriters are answered with in SLA.
• Audit the files of associated and ensure it is according to the compliance norms
• Train and mentor new associates
• Ensuring compliance procedures are implemented and followed by all.
• Authorising correspondence and documents of all as per compliance requirement
• Follow up with clients and underwriters via fax, email or phone for the latest update on their policies
• Coordinate with brokers to ensure that claims are settled and reinsurers queries are solved promptly
• Coordinate with Xchanging to ensure the quick movements of claims/claim files.
• Correspondences with Bureaux Market like ILU, LIRMA and LLOYDS, which enable us for the quick movement and agreement of claims.
• Regular communication with the UK office through email, messenger and phone for process updates
• Calculate and account for claims, premium due, reinstatement premium, etc
• Understand insurance policies and verify the accuracy of client’s statements
• Part of Transition team of Discontinued projects (Reinsurance Dept)
• Administration of all functions in Reinsurance - Transition and Discontinued projects
• Develop and maintain product knowledge in the team
• Ensure all targets in terms of quality and quantity are achieved
• Manage client queries and complaints in an efficient manner
• Coordinate with Org-wide Quality team to improve the service offerings of existing / new clients
• Prepare various MIS reports of the projects
• Provide clarification and resolve any product / technical queries raised by the team members
• Assist the manager in quality & crisis management, training and any administrative issues
• Provide value-adds by way of process improvements
• Help and motivate the team members to achieve their quality / quantity targets
