IGNOU Conducts Workshop on Research Methodology for research scholars

       A lot of changes have been witnessed in the field of research in recent times. To keep pace with the changing trends and challenges of research of any discipline, one has to go through proper research methodological process. Keeping in view the necessity of research methodology, this programme is conceptualized by NECRD for research scholars. The workshop will help the participants acquaint themselves with the dynamic trends of research methodology which may shape their research work in the right direction. 

Objectives:

1. To make fresh researchers aware of different research methodologies used by     researchers in different fields.
2. To help researchers choose the right methodology or methodologies for their research     study in their field.

Pedagogy:

The program has been designed to make it highly interactive, which includes exercises, activities and laboratory sessions. The program will be facilitated by experienced faculties drawn from different Universities and Research centers

Target Group: Currently registered M. Phil. and Ph.D. Scholars of the NE Region. 

                 

Registration Fee: Rs.250/-(for fellowship holders), Rs.100/-(for non fellowship holders) to be paid at the time of registration through demand draft in favour of Dy. Director, NECRD   IGNOU) payable at State Bank of India, Geetanagar Branch, Guwahati.

i)    Data Collection Technique, Scaling Techniques

j)    Fundamentals of Sampling , Editing and Coding of Data

k)    Use of Computers.

l)    Extrapolation and interpolation.
