Entrance Examination

There will be an entrance examination conducted by the Heads of the concerned Departments of the University. The entrance examination shall consist of objective anddescriptive type questions of 50 marks each. The duration of the examination shall be two hours.

Candidates who secure 50% marks and above in the entrance examination are eligible for admission to M. Phil Course. Candidates belonging to SC/ST category need only 35% marks to qualify in the entrance examination.

Each application should be accompanied by an application fee of Rs.300/- by way of Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Comptroller, Kerala
Agricultural University, Vellanikkara payable at State Bank of Travancore, KAU Campus Branch, Vellanikkara (branch code no. 7670). No other
mode of payment will be accepted. SC/ST candidates need remit an application fee of only Rs.150/-. The application fee once paid will not be
refunded under any circumstances. Application forms without the req uired fee will be summarily rejected.

This is a new specialist Master degree in Intellectual Property Law which has been developed by IGNOU in collaboration with leading Australian universities - Queensland University of Technology (QUT). Students who join the MIPL with an LL.B, after successful completing six subjects in the first year of the MIPL would have the option to proceed to QUT to study four subjects in one semester of the QUT Master of Laws. To study at QUT students would be required to meet the Australian English Language and visa requirements and would be subject to the standard fee, rules and regulations applicable to international students.
