Admission Requirements
The candidates must have completed a valid and recognized Graduate degree program in any discipline and should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Age not more than 30 yrs. He or she should be of amicable nature, and should be willing to travel, meet people and work in a service and customer-oriented industry. Good communication and presentation skills, along with an excellent command of English language is a must.
Admission Procedure
Admission to the MBA programme is based on academic merit, MAT score (Management Aptitude Test Of AIMA),group discussion and personal interview. Candidates who have taken the MAT test may apply with their valid scores and other relevant certificates. Those who wish to appear for the MAT may obtain further details from www.aima-ind.org

Agricultural University, was established in 1981 according to Section 5 of the KAU Act which provides for the creation of a Faculty of Co-operation. The filled in application forms may be submitted to the Registrar, Kerala Agricultural University, KAU P.O., Thrissur, Kerala - 680 656 along with application processing fee of Rs.750/- (Rupees Seven Hundred and Fifty only), (in the case of SC/ST candidates Rs.375/- (Rupees Three Hundred and Seventy Five only) by a Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Comptroller, Kerala Agricultural University, Vellanikkara payable at the State Bank of Travancore, KAU Campus Branch, Vellanikkara so as to reach on or before 30th June 2009 (before 4PM). No other mode of payment will be accepted under any circumstances.

* Candidates must have passed the requisite Qualifying Examination, which is the General Secondary Education Certificate Examination of Ministry of Education, UAE or Senior School Certificate Examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, India, or its equivalent from any recognized State, National or International boards with a minimum 60% overall aggregate* of marks.
* For all programmes, Candidates must have studied and passed Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in their Qualifying Examination and must have a minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry & Maths subjects. If instead of marks any letter grades or GPA are awarded (or any other form of evaluation), their equivalences in marks will be decided by BITS, Pilani- Dubai.
* Since English is the medium of instruction at BPD, good proficiency in English is essential for admission. Hence candidates who have completed their qualifying examination from Non-English Medium Schools must have secured a TOEFL Score of 500 in paper based test or 61 in internet based test or have an IELTS Score of 5. If necessary, they will also be assessed by an institute-committee for English Comprehension.
Aggregate
: Aggregate is the total marks of all subjects in the Qualifying Examination, considered essential by the Board / University for passing the examination. The Aggregate must compulsorily contain the required subjects, namely, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. . The Candidate's position in the merit list will be based only on this aggregate marks secured by him/her.

Admission to BITS, Pilani - Dubai (BPD) is based entirely on the candidates merit, his/her preferences, facilities available and availability of seats in the discipline preferred. Scholarships and Fee Concessions
Scholarships
1. Merit Scholarship
* Students who have obtained 90% and above in the aggregate of the Qualifying Examination will be given a 20% concession in the first semester tuition fee as scholarship at the time of admission. This scholarship is limited to the first semester only.
* Students who have obtained 80% and above in the aggregate of the Qualifying Examination will be given a 15% concession in the first semester tuition fee as scholarship at the time of admission. This scholarship is limited to the first semester only.
* On obtaining a CGPA of 9.0 on a 10.0 scale in each semester, students will be eligible for a 20% concession in the tuition fee as scholarship for the following semester.
2. Scholarship for Board Toppers
Students who have secured top positions in 12th standard in their respective boards (UAE National General Secondary School Exam or CBSE-India or any other State National or International Boards) will be offered the following scholarship for the first semester.
* First Rank holder: 100% of the tuition fee
* Second Rank holder: 75% of the tuition fee
* Third Rank holder: 50% of the tuition fee
The above scholarship is limited to the first semester only. Relevant documents certifying the above must be enclosed along with the application form from competent authorities.
3. Scholarship for Sports Excellence
* Students who have participated and won medals in International championships will be eligible for 50% concession on the 1st semester tuition fee and students who have participated in the International Championships are eligible for 15% concession on the 1st semester tuition fee. This scholarship is limited to the first semester only.
* Students who have participated and won medals in National tournaments are eligible for 20% concession on the 1st semester tuition fee and students who have participated in National Tournaments are eligible for 5% concession on the 1st semester tuition fee. This scholarship is limited to the first semester only.
4. Merit-cum-Means Scholarship
There will be a few merit-cum-means scholarships available to students. Those students who wish to apply to this must strictly adhere to the guidelines prescribed for the same which will be available from the Student Welfare Office. The amount and number of scholarships will be decided by a duly constituted committee. This scholarship is applicable to UAE students only.
Fee Concessions
1. Special Concession for UAE Nationals: Students who are UAE Nationals and who meet the eligibility criteria of the institution will be offered full scholarship throughout the programme which shall include full waiver on tuition fee, hostel fee, transport fee and cost of books.
2. Fee Concession in case of sudden bereavement of earning member of the family: The Institute will help by waiving off 100% tuition fee for a semester for those students who face financial hardships due to the sudden and untimely demise of the sole earning member of their family in that semester. A scholarship of upto 75% can be offered for the subsequent semesters on a case to case basis, depending on means and need and the overall performance/discipline of the student.
3. Fee Concession for Physically Challenged Students: All students who are physically challenged, who secure admission satisfying the eligibility criteria of the institute will be eligible for 15% concession on the tuition fee throughout the programme subject to satisfactory academic performance in each semester.
Relevant documents from an Authorized Medical Practitioner must be produced explaining the nature of physical handicap and certifying no bar for the student in pursuing an engineering programme due to the physical disability. The Admission to the institution and award of the scholarship will be done at the sole discretion of the Institute Authorities. Responsibility of providing any medical attention to the student in respect of his/her handicap during the course of his/her study entirely rests with the parent.

Hostel Fee

Transport Fee
* Dubai : Dhs. 1500/- per semester
* Sharjah and Ajman : Dhs. 1750/- per semester
Visa Fee
* Fresh Visa : Dhs. 2100/- per annum ( Valid for 1 year )
* Visa Renewal : Dhs. 1500/- per annum ( payable in 2nd , 3rd & 4th year )
Currently prevailing fee and is subject to change on the instructions of Govt. of UAE.
Medical Insurance Fee
* Insurance Fee including dental cover : Dhs. 1550/- per annum
(If not already insured from a UAE based insurance company.)
Each academic year consists of two semesters. In addition to the above, student who opts for the Practice School (PS) program, will be required to pay PS - I fee of Dhs. 4500/- excluding hostel & transport, at the end of the 2nd year.
Crossed Cheques & Drafts should be drawn in favour of M/s. ETA - NET. If the payment is made in US $ demand drafts, an amount of US $ 50 to be added along with the fees amount, payable towards Bank charges.
