Qualification:

1. General: Pass in Pre-degree/ Pre-University or SSLC with 50% marks in English.
2. Technical: Pass in Higher Grade Examination in Typewriting English (KGTE/ MGTE) or equivalent examination; Lower Grade Examination in Malayalam Typewriting (KGTE), and Shorthand English Lower Examination (KGTE/ MGTE)
3. Desirable qualification: Basic computer knowledge.
4. Scale of pay: Rs: 6080- 9830 per month
5. Age: Between 18- 35 years as on 01/01/2010.

The application form can be availed from the Cash Section of the University on payment of Rs: 50/- or by post on request along with Demand Draft for Rs: 50 drawn in favor of the Registrar, Cochin University of Science and Technology payable at State Bank of Tranvancore, Cochin University campus, along with a self-addressed envelope having postal stamp worth Rs: 15 on it. Request for application should be made before 12/03/2010. Applications received after March 12 won’t be entertained. Candidates belonging to SC/ ST communities can have the application free of cost, provided they submit essential documents.

The application form can be downloaded from the University website too. Instructions are available in the website. Completed form and a fee of Rs: 250/- should be sent along with the application. The fee is Rs: 50/- for SC/ ST. Fees should be remitted in the form of demand draft as mentioned above.

Registration Fees:

Registration fee is Rs: 200/-. Fees can be remitted as Demand Draft drawn in the favor of Registrar, Cochin University of Science and Technology payable at State Bank of Travancore, Cochin University Campus.(Branch code: 70235)

Fees can be paid directly at the Cash Section of University as well. Demand Draft/ Cash receipt should be sent along with the application. Copies of certificates proving age, caste, qualification and experience should be attached along with the completed application.
